“We always met teachers trooping out from either the school farm or bush which shows that they went and ease themselves.”

They also lamented that, apart from the headteacher, over five pupils have been bitten by Snake within one month.

They are however appealing to the government, the District Chief Executive for Ekumfi District, Ebenezer Monney, Member of Parliament, Abeiku Crentsil to support the school with toilet facility in order to address the menace.

Reaching some of the teachers also added that they are not surprise snake has bitten their Headteacher.

“This is not news to us since this was not the first time such incident has happened in the school”, adding that they always feel shy going to ease themselves in a school farm with the students at the same time.

“We’re always chased out from the bush by snakes, scorpions and other poisonous animals in an attempt to ease ourselves as we’ve had no other option.”

According to the teachers, they sometimes come to classrooms with faeces in their dress unknown till they are prompted by the pupils which is a disgrace to them.

They appealed to the Government, Chiefs, Philanthropists, private individuals, Non-Governmental Organizations to support the school with a toilet facility, teachers’ bungalow and other developmental projects for a smooth teaching and learning in the school.
