BUKOM BANKU AND HIS SON HAVE BEEN ARRESTED FOR STABBING A MAN.

A court in Accra has decided to keep Braimah Kamoko, also known as Bukom Banku, in jail because he is accused of stabbing a man.

The prosecutor says that on Friday, November 25, 2022, at 5:30 p.m., the boxer and some of his friends caused trouble and attacked other people in Bukom.Ishmael Neequaye, the person who filed the complaint, is a neighbor.

He said that the noise in the area woke him up from his sleep. He said that he tried to make things calm again. But the prosecutor said that when Bukom Banku saw the complainant, Ishamel Neequaye, he broke a bottle and gave it to his son, Mustapha, to use as a knife to hurt Ishamel.

The complainant was rushed to the Korle Bu teaching hospital after the son of Bukom shoved the broken bottle into his stomach.Reports say that the police tried several times to catch Bukom Banku and his son, but they were unsuccessful. But the two were caught after a criminal summons was given to them.

The two said they were innocent, but the judge, Justice Adelaide Abui Keddey, didn’t let them out on bail.The boxer and his son will have to go back to court on Monday, December 19. The third suspect, 32-year-old Prosper Quaye, is on the run.
