GARVEY alone succeeded in bringing together in his movement more than 25 million Blacks and supporters in the 4 corners of the world. His movement had for vision the prosperity of all blacks and for MISSION the return to African soil to rebuild Africa and put an end to the looting as well as the savage exploitation of Africa.
#Achievements :
__ He created a Bank for Blacks. A bank where only blacks could take loans, keep or withdraw their money.
__ He created a Naval Fleet (boat) for the maritime transactions of the Blacks. All blacks who wanted to go or come from Africa to America for trade could board without paying much.
__ He created hospitals for blacks where care was free.
__ He created a reception and reintegration center for all blacks who lived on the streets in the USA, cared for them, offered them food, re-educated them with intensive courses to change their mentality and found them a worthy job. His slogan: “One black, one job. God loves work, he doesn’t need the irresponsible in heaven >>.
__ The center contained more than 700 rooms. People showered for 4 hours, combed their hair, perfumed themselves and put on clothes that made them look like business leaders under GARVEY’s orders.
__ He ordered that emphasis be placed on black cleanliness and clothing. He said that our ancestors were the cleanest in antiquity, the most elegant and always wore royal clothes. He refused the dirty image that Westerners attached to blacks.
__ He created a security command, a police force and provided black lawyers for the security and protection of black rights.
He will escape more than 85 assassination attempts. Invincible, cunning, incredibly intelligent, they will finally use the law against him and unjustly arrest him for tax evasion.

Marcus GARVEY, born in Jamaica, raised in the USA, developed a philosophy of solidarity between all black people in the world in his time. He advocated the return of all black people in the world to Africa, where their parents were captured and deported to be slaves in Europe and America. He was the first to initiate the movements: BACK TO AFRICA (Return to Africa) throughout the Black diaspora in Europe and America. The RASTA (Reggae) movement praising the Emperor of Ethiopia Haile Selassie, nicknamed King of Kings, was inspired by a disciple of GARVEY. GARVEY engendered the love of Africa and symbolically the love of Ethiopia in the hearts of black people in America. Given that Ethiopia is the oldest country in the world with an unbroken succession of great Kings and Queens; then despite all the wars it has known since Antiquity, it has remained until today the only country in the world to have never been conquered or colonized. This country will be for GARVEY the landmark of all blacks around the world. The word Ethiopia itself means “Land of the Blacks”.
It is for all these reasons that Addis Sababa is the capital of the African Union.
GARVEY had even created a common Church for all Blacks according to the Ethiopian religion called “Ethiopian Orthodox Church” (Ethiopian Orthodox Church). I recall here that before the invasion of Arabs and Westerners in Africa, almost all of Africa, including the Maghreb, prayed to the God of Ethiopia and Egypt. The two (2) oldest countries in the world.
Marcus GARVEY had succeeded in creating a common politics, economy, army and religion for all black people in the world. According to records, during political meetings and during services at the Ethiopian Orthodox Church the crowds were so large that the end of the crowds could not be seen on the horizon. More than 15 million people on their feet listened to the fiery speeches and sermons of GARVEY and his preacher friend Alexander. A highly cultured fervent preacher who spoke 14 languages at once and gave relevant teachings that have nothing to do with most churches today. When he opened his mouth, no one could stand on his feet, it is said! Everyone including GARVEY himself who was a master of the word started crying…
Believe me, I will be able to tell you about GARVEY from now until the end of this year!!! I assure you, there is a real reason why no one tells you about this man’s story. Because the day you will know all his story you will never be the same person again!
GARVEY was even considered the first Provisional President of the UNITED STATES OF AFRICA and of all Blacks. The great African historians even recognize this title. This extraordinary man was both feared and admired by Western powers. That’s why not only was he arrested in his tracks and imprisoned. But we do everything to erase all traces of its history.
Marcus GARVEY was without a doubt the greatest Black Leader and Visionary humanity has ever known.
If nowadays we could find no more than 10 GARVEY, Africa and the Blacks of the whole world would already be free and prosperous…
