The General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia has finally explained his infamous line ‘any idiot can go to court’ to Ghanaians.
He says he did not mean any malice but it sure looks like Ghanaians do not understand simple logic.
Asiedu says when he said any idiot can go to court, he did not mean all those who go to court are idiots.
He says all that he meant was that, anyone at all can take their case to court but it is the judge who would decided whether the case is worthy or not.
”I said that any idiot can take you to court but it is the judges who will decide whether the case is sensible or not, and that is the process we have in Ghana. Our law indicates that any idiot can go to court, but there are people who are saying that when you say any ‘idiot’, the meaning is that those who go to court are idiots; they have problem with logic or English”
