Allow LGBT+ to be taught in schools – Former GES staff
Mr Charles Aheto-Tsegah, a former Director-General of GES has suggested for the Education Ministry to consider the inclusion of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender/transsexual (LGBT+) activism in education curricular.

He in an interview with TV3 monitored by Educationweb.com.gh said the inclusion of the LGBT+ will enlighten students on the discussions and the practices of the LGBT+ society to make an informed decision in future.

According to the former GES Director-General, school children are taught about other social vices to help them desist from committing mistakes in the future and not necessarily for them to practice them in the community.

“In the education system, we don’t teach children to mimic practices that they are thought, especially those that are not in the interest of the public, but it is important for our children to have [the] knowledge

“All of us are bent on saying for lack of knowledge our people perish. It is important that the children know that there is a certain group of individuals who say they’re LGBT+ and this is what they do and how they came about,” Mr Charles Aheto-Tsegah said as quoted by GhanaWeb
