MP for Dome Kwabenya and Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection – Hon Sarah Adwoa Safo, has dropped an emotional lengthy post on her Facebook page to explain her long absence from Parliament and how her own party comrades are now sabotaging her.
As we all know, Hon. Adwoa Safo has been absent from parliament for about 6 months but still receives her full salary and other bonuses.

This development has not been treated with baby gloves by concerned Ghanaians at all as many of them have suggested that she should be sacked since she has refused to willingly resign.
Adwoa Safo has now come forward to share her side of the tale following the initial uproar.
Speaking after the weekend’s national delegates meeting for the NPP, Adwoa Safo explained her absence as being due to a family situation in the United States.

She claims that rather than having her party stand up for her as a woman, they are out there crucifying her and attempting to remove her from her position and ministry.
She additionally alleged in her trending write-up that she protected a female MP some years back as Deputy Majority leader when that MP also had to deal with similar sensitive issues.
