Commercial Drivers of Asuofua in the Atwima Nwabiagya North District of the Ashanti Region have blocked roads in protest against rampant fuel increment.

Clothed in black with red armbands the agitated drivers including taxi and Trotro drivers blocked the roads and prevent oncoming and incoming vehicles on the stretch from plying on the roads.

Over 1000 drivers this morning around 7:30am on Wednesday, November 2 2022, occupied the main road leading to Kumasi to prevent vehicular movement.

The police intervened to calm down the protestors and pave way for vehicles to move smoothly.
