83 Year Old Retired Police Commissioner Gets Surprised By IGP Dampare
The Inspector-General of Police Dr George Akuffo Dampare has given a retired Commissioner of Police, Mr Ellis Owusu Fordwouh a treat on this year’s Farmers’ Day celebration. The IGP and his officers paid a surprise visit to Mr Owusu Fordwuoh at his cocoa farm in Kwaafokrom in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
The retired officer least expected the IGP and his men at his farm today to help him cultivate cocoa beans that have been harvested from this 65 acre cocoa plantation. Mr Owusu Fordwuoh was not just a Commissioner of Police but also
a former Director of the National Investigation Bureau (NIB), and a lawyer.
His reputation preceded him, and Dr Dampare was very much excited to join him and the family process the cocoa beans. To some of Dr Dampare’s officers, it’s a novel experience.
