The management of Ghana Education Service (GES) is yet to open the GES recruitment portal for all qualified interested graduates from both colleges of education and universities to apply for this year’s 2021 GES recruitment.
The portal which was supposed to be opened somewhere in September is still closed without any official statement from GES to explain the reasons for the delay.
However the Finance Ministry has granted a financial clearance to the Ministry of Education to enable the Director General of Education to recruit a total of 16,850 newly trained teachers into the Service.
Mr. Nyanu Emmanuel, an official of the Ghana Education Service in a short interview revealed to Honestynewgh.com that this is a clear indication that the GES recruitment portal is hopefully to be opened soon for registration.
HERE ARE THE DOCUMENTS THAT WILL BE REQUIRED FOR 2021 GES RECRUITMENT
During the online Registration, the following will be required
1. Bio Data -( Full Name, Date of Birth, Phone Number, E-mail Address and Residential Address)
2. Scanned copy of College Certificate
3. Scanned copy of NTC Certificate
4. Scanned copy of Passport Picture
5. Tax Identification Number (TIN)
6. SSNIT Biometric Number 7.Index Number 8.NTC Number 9.NSS Number
Below are the needed documents that will be required after the Postings are Released Probably in December or January.
1. BECE Certificate
2. WASSCE Certificate
3. COLLEGE Certificate
4. NTC Certificate
5. NSS Certificate
6. Birth Certificate
7. Personal Record Form at Regional
8. Bank Details
9. Medical Report _( go to any government Hospital to acquire one when the time is due)
10. Letters _(Appointment letter, Acceptance letter, Assumption of Duty letter etc. will be printed and forwarded to the regional and the district offices.
Below Are Some Important Things To Take Note During The Online Application
1. Persons who will be eligible for this year’s GES postings will be posted to places where their services will be needed even though applicants are given three preferred choices of Region of Posting (First, Second and
Third choice).
2. Applicants are not to use their phones to apply but should visit a Cafe to begin the process.
3. All Certificates should be Scanned and Uploaded at the Cafe during the application process.
4. All Double Registration will lead to disqualification. Incase of any error after confirmation of the application, applicants are to use the application Code to login and affect the change.
5. After successful application and Confirmation, applicants are advised to make a printout of their confirmed application containing a Code and all application details.
